Andrés Cimmarusti is currently a graduate student of the Department of Physics at the University of Maryland at College Park. He got his undergraduate degree in physics at Universidad de los Andes, located in Mérida, Venezuela. He is interested in atomic, molecular and optical physics, despite the fact he worked in experimental particle physics for his undergraduate project.

His hobbies Include: mountain biking, football, hiking, traveling, reading and computers.
