Applying Nature's Design

Applying Nature's Design

Applying Nature's Design offers a comprehensive and insightful overview of the design and effectiveness of corridors. The authors' multifaceted analysis combines a succinct review of the conceptual issues with tangible examples of how the implementation of corridors has played out in the real world. Their work is also the first to consider the importance of socioeconomic and political issues in creating and maintaining corridors. (from the publisher)

My conservation research program revolves around the study of the amazing variety of life in our world, and how we might keep it around into the future. The search leads in many odd directions, from sparrows that don't like to fly, to watching ants from space, to jungles that grow oil wells. If you want to know more, click here.

I have a particular interest in corridor projects, as you might guess by the book on the right. You can find copies with most online book stores.
