Welcome

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD in the Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics (BEES) Program.

I am broadly interested in evolution and behavioral ecology and especially the relationship between cognition and sexual selection. My research on satin bowerbirds (Ptilonorhynchus violaceus) at Wallaby Creek, NSW, Australia, tests the cognitive performance hypothesis which states that males with better general cognitive performance have higher reproductive success.

You can read more about this research on my research page. Also please feel free to look at my publications as well as the coverage I've received recently in the press about this research.
