# Math 246 Matlab Projects, Fall 2000

(18 October version)

There are 6 Matlab projects worth 25 points each. These are
given below, but are subject to changes announced in class. All
count toward your course grade. Solutions to each project will be
posted below after everyone has turned them in.

** When and Where to Turn in Your Projects. ** Each Project
assignment should be turned in no later than its due date by either:

- giving it to me immediately after class,
- slipping it under the door of my Math office
(MTH 3106) before 6:00pm.

Projects turned in late will be recorded, but may not be graded for
full credit.
** How Each Project Should Look. ** A project should consist of a
diary of the Matlab runs, plus any required graphical output. If a
problem calls for a program to be written (an ``m-file'') then that
file should be included in the diary with the ``type'' command before
the program is run. You should give the number of each problem
attempted and the work for each problem should be indicated clearly.
(There should be no arrows running around or between pages!) Your
answers should be presented in the order that the problems are
assigned. If you use more than one sheet of paper, they should be
stapled together. The top of the first page should include: your
name, our course and section number, my name, and the date the
assignment is due.
