Hi, my name is Zoe, a freshman undecided major at the University of Maryland College Park. I am also a member of the Science and Global Change Scholars program. I am planning to pursue an engineering degree in either bioengineering or fire protection engineering. I am part of the professional service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, and I love getting involved on campus. My favorite volunteering activity so far has been concessions at football games! I am also a member of the club field hockey team. My favorite part about UMD has been the amount of activities going on at any time, so if I am ever bored I can find something going on around campus.
Over the next four years, I plan to fully decide on my major and create a graduation plan to stay on track of my goals and credits. I plan to hold an executive position in Alpha Phi Omega, and I would love to become a resident Assistant in one of the dormitories. I would also like to explore more service opportunities to get involved and give back to my community.
