Hi, my name is Zoe, a freshman Environemntal Science and Technology major at the University of Maryland College Park. I am also a member of the Science and Global Change Scholars program. I hope to also pursue a minor in a business related field to gain the skills neccessary for a potential consulting job in the future. I am part of the professional service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, and I love getting involved on campus. My favorite volunteering activity so far has been concessions at football games! I am also a member of the club field hockey team. My favorite part about UMD has been the amount of activities going on at any time, so if I am ever bored I can find something going on around campus.
Over the next four years, I plan to decicde on a minor and update my graduation plan to reflect this change. I hope to study abroad my junior year to meet new people and learn about cultures outside of the Univeristy of Maryland. I plan to hold an executive position in Alpha Phi Omega, and I would love to become a resident Assistant in one of the dormitories. I would also like to explore more service opportunities to get involved and give back to my community.
