Hello, I'm Alix, a freshman majoring in aerospace engineering at the University of Maryland College Park. Alongside being a full-time student, I also have a part-time job at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum as an Explainer, and I’m an avid astronomy lover as well. I am very passionate about the exploration and research of the universe, including our beautiful planet Earth. I am currently in a group research project creating a machine learning algorithm in Python to classify features in stellar images as a part of one of my classes, and I plan to continue participating in many more projects and research during my time at UMD and beyond.
