Hello, my name is Lilly Tran. I am a freshman bioengineering student apart of the College Park Science and global change scholars program and the James Clark School of engineering. On campus I am currently involved in the Advance Prosetic Intiative, The Biomedical enginering society, and the musical group 32 bars. I hope to be able to learn about prosethics during my time in UMD while continung to learn about how I can apply enginnering skills into biological systems. In college park scholars I hope to learn more about the impacts of humans on the enviroment and what we can do to reduce the impacts global change.
In my classes I am currently learning various skills that I can apply in the future. For example in my Bioengineering Lab class ( BIOE121) I am learning lab skills such as PCR, Gel Electrophrosis, and growing bacterial cells.
